Waterfront Electrical Built to Last

Every system engineered for saltwater exposure, code compliance, and 20+ year service life — private docks to full marina infrastructure.

Dock Lighting Systems

Lumitec, WAC, and Bluefin LED dock, step, piling, and underwater systems — saltwater-rated, fully automated with smart home control, voice activation, and scene scheduling.

Underwater Lighting

Two systems available: Lumitec SeaBlaze II (24V RGBW LED, low voltage, full color control) and Deep Glow (120V metal halide, green/white/blue — brighter, no RGBW, outstanding fish attraction with no lens fouling).

Shore Power Systems

30A, 50A, 100A, 125A, and 200A installations. Equipotential bonding, GFEP (Ground Fault Equipment Protection) and GFCI on every circuit, ELCI (Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter) at every service point. Can upgrade single-phase to 3-phase including FPL service planning.

Pedestals & Marina Electrical

Marine pedestals with aluminum enclosures and enamel powder coating, per-slip metering, GFCI on every outlet — complete electrical service from subpanel to slip. MarineSync monitoring supports up to 10 pedestals.

Corrosion-Resistant Installs

Marine-grade conduit, liquid-tight fittings, UV-resistant materials, and 316 stainless steel and/or brass machine screws throughout — engineered for decades of saltwater performance without degradation.

GFCI & ESD Protection

MarineSync GFEP, Bender MarinaGuard, and ELCI (Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter — trips on even small current leaks to water before shock hazard) at every service point — life-safety graded, NFPA 303 compliant, load-tested before sign-off.

Engineered for Marine Environments

Saltwater Durability

Every component specified for continuous marine exposure — marine-grade conduit, 316 stainless hardware, NEMA 4X enclosures rated for decades of Florida coastal service.

Grounding & Bonding

Equipotential bonding is non-negotiable at the waterfront. We engineer and load-test every connection to eliminate stray current and ESD hazards — built beyond code minimums.

Long-Term Reliability

Residential components fail near saltwater. Every PSEC waterfront system is engineered for 20+ year service life using materials rated for the marine environment — zero compromises.

Code-Compliant Installs

Designed, installed, and inspected per NFPA 303, NEC Article 555, and Florida Building Code. FL Masters License EC13002571 — fully permitted and signed off, every project.

Life Safety — Critical Hazard

Electric Shock Drowning & Ground-Fault Protection

Electric Shock Drowning is invisible, silent, and fatal. PSEC installs the advanced ground-fault protection systems most electricians won't — and posts bilingual ESD warning signs at every dock we work on.

⚠ Electric Shock Drowning (ESD) — A Hidden Killer in Florida Waters

ESD is caused by AC current leaking from faulty dock wiring or shore power cords into surrounding water. The current induces full-body muscle paralysis, preventing the victim from reaching safety — resulting in drowning in water that appears completely safe.

Source of Danger

Faulty dock wiring, corroded shore power cords, and unprotected boat electrical cause lethal current leakage into the water — with no visible warning.

Florida Context

Florida's extensive marina network makes it a high-risk state for ESD. Incidents occur near shore power pedestals, hoists, and dock wiring — in fresh and salt water.

Who Is At Risk

Swimmers, dock workers, boaters, and children — anyone in or near the water is at risk from current they cannot see, feel, or anticipate.

Our Commitment

GFEP That Most Electricians Won't Install

MarineSync GFEP and Bender MarinaGuard systems are rarely installed — because most electricians don't know how. PSEC installs, wires, and tests these advanced protection systems on every waterfront project. We also fabricate bilingual ESD warning signs in English and Spanish, posted at every dock, slip, and waterfront access point we work on.

Nobody should lose their life to a hazard they can't see. That's why every PSEC waterfront install includes life-safety protection beyond minimum code requirements.

MarineSync GFEP Bender MarinaGuard Shunt Trip Breakers ELCI at All Service Points Bilingual ESD Signs — Every Dock NFPA 303 Compliant

Protection Systems We Install

  • GFCI breakers & receptacles throughout marina and dock
  • Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupters (ELCI) — senses leakage current to ground and trips the breaker before ESD can occur. Mandatory at all marina service points per NFPA 303
  • MarineSync GFEP — advanced ground fault equipment protection
  • Bender MarinaGuard — continuous ground fault monitoring with alarm
  • Shunt trip breakers — auto-disconnect on fault detection
  • Full marina electrical inspection and load testing
  • Grounding & bonding system upgrades and verification
  • Bilingual ESD warning signs (English & Spanish) at every access point

NFPA 303 Requirements

  • All receptacles within 6 ft of water must be GFCI
  • ELCI required at all service equipment
  • Regular inspection and testing is mandatory
  • Proper grounding of all metallic components
  • ESD warning signage posted at water access points
